The Verdant Story

The story of Verdant traces back to 1973, when
Mr. H. Rathnakar Thyagaraj laid the foundation with JC United—a
humble publicity printing press in South India. From
printing cine posters on walls to becoming a trusted
partner for printing, packaging, and institutional supply,
JC United stood for craftsmanship, reliability, and quiet
excellence in everything it produced.

Decades later, that same spirit of purpose and precision was carried forward by the next generation. In 2008, Mr. Dinakar Thyagaraj, taking the baton from his father, founded JC Stationery Pvt. Ltd.—a focused venture to serve India’s growing demand for institutional stationery and educational supplies. Built on a vision of innovation and integrity, JC Stationery quickly earned its place in schools, government programs, and social initiatives.

As the demand grew, so did the need for scale, sustainability, and a sharper brand identity. This led to the transformation of JC Stationery into what we now know as Verdant Stationery Pvt. Ltd.—a name that reflects growth, greatness, and global readiness.

Today, Verdant stands as one of India’s largest integrated paper and stationery manufacturers, based in Andhra Pradesh and serving both domestic and international markets. With eco-conscious processes, innovative product lines, and a deep-rooted commitment to people, Verdant continues to write a legacy defined not just by output, but by impact.
